Welcome to the inaugural edition of Advocacy in Action, Bend Chamber’s new update dedicated to keeping our members informed about the policies, legislation, and advocacy efforts shaping our regional economy.

Advocacy is one of the Bend Chamber’s core priorities. Through our work at the local and state level, we ensure that the voice of the business community is represented in decisions that impact workforce, housing, economic development, infrastructure, and the overall business climate in Central Oregon.

With the 2026 Oregon Legislative Short Session now concluded, this first edition highlights the priorities we focused on during the session and how the Chamber tracks legislation and engages business leaders in our advocacy efforts.
