Ballots for the November 3 General Election began mailing on October 14 and should be arriving in mailboxes soon! Now is the time to make your plan to vote, research the candidates and ballot measures, and make informed decisions about the issues shaping our community.
The Bend Chamber's 2026 General Election Candidate Questionnaire is a great place to start, with responses from candidates on issues important to Bend's business community and regional economy.
A few reminders as you prepare to vote:
- Track your ballot: Oregon voters can now sign up for ballot tracking alerts to receive updates when their ballot is mailed, received, and accepted for counting.
- Voting by mail? It's still a safe and reliable option! Plan to mail your ballot by October 27, seven days before Election Day. If mailing later, visit a Post Office and request a hand postmark.
- Returning by drop box? Official ballot drop boxes are available through 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3.
Take some time to do your homework, make your selections, and return your ballot. Your voice matters in shaping Bend's future!
