Bend Chamber family,

Like so many of you, we are struggling to find the words to express our heartbreak following yesterday's tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary.

Our hearts are with the families grieving unimaginable loss, the students and educators whose lives have been forever changed, and the first responders and health care professionals who cared for our community.

Today, we are reminded of the strength of our community and the compassion we have for one another. Across Bend, businesses, organizations, and neighbors are opening their doors and their hearts, offering comfort, connection, and a place to simply be together.

We know there are no words that can make sense of this loss. But we can show up for one another, extend kindness, and make space for those who are grieving.
