Bend-La Pine Schools invites you to participate in an upcoming listening session regarding the district’s fundraising policies and practices.

As you may be aware, Bend-La Pine Schools is in the process of revising its fundraising and donation policies. The goal is to honor the generosity and partnership of our community while ensuring practices are equitable, transparent, efficient, and aligned with legal requirements and shared community values. Input from community partners is an essential step in shaping policies that are clear, sustainable, and supportive of all students across every school and program in the district.

Bend-La Pine Schools is considering several changes to how fundraised dollars are accepted and spent for athletics, classroom and CTE programs, music and enrichment activities, and more. They want to hear from you, as a valued community member, about these options. Your perspective and priorities will help inform policy decisions that strengthen partnerships and maximize impact across the district.

Listening Session Details:

  • Wednesday, January 21st, 11:30am-1:00pm
  • Education Center (520 NW Wall St), upstairs in the Board Room
  • Lunch will be provided
  • RSVP here by Thurs, Jan 15

Bend-La Pine Schools asks that each business, donor, or organization send one representative. If you are unable to attend, you may designate another individual from your organization who is familiar with your support of the district’s schools and programs.
