The Bend Chamber of Commerce supports a diverse, equitable and inclusive chamber membership, workforce and business community.
We strive to support diversity influencers and professionals in order to attract and retain a vibrant, successful workforce.
We believe DEI and diversity in all its forms, including opinions and perspectives creates a competitive advantage, better outcomes and spurs innovation in Bend and the Central Oregon Region.
Climate Change Position
In representation of its members, the Bend Chamber shares the following position on climate change:
Climate change has diverse impacts on our members. The Bend Chamber supports open dialogue and reasonable policies that are responsive to those impacts as our community continues to grow. We may specifically be supportive of policies:
Provide reasonable equity of impacts and benefits to our members
Sustainable to implement and maintain
Provide measurable, reliable benefits over time
Specifically of policies that reduce waste
