OnPoint Community Credit Union contributed $26,000 in May 2026 to support Central Oregon nonprofits. The donations build on OnPoint’s longstanding commitment to strengthening the community by investing in local education, housing stability, foster care and community connection.

Bend-La Pine Education Foundation’s Trivia Night

The largest contribution of $12,000 supported the Bend-La Pine Education Foundation’s Trivia Night, held May 20 at Silver Moon Brewing in Bend. Proceeds fund the Classroom Enrichment Program, which provides grants benefiting more than 17,000 students across Bend, La Pine and Sunriver through innovative, educator-led projects that enhance learning and help bridge school funding gaps.

OnPoint has provided the Bend-La Pine Education Foundation with over $37,000 in support since 2012, and an employee has served on the foundation’s board membership for the past 16 years.

 Alpenglow Nights

OnPoint also contributed $8,000 to support Alpenglow Nights, a free summer concert series running from May 21 to June 25 at Alpenglow Park in Bend. Held over five Thursday evenings, the event brings the community together for live music, local food vendors and family-friendly fun, fostering connection and celebrating Bend’s vibrant culture.

CASA of Central Oregon’s Casablanca Gala

Additional support included $3,500 to CASA of Central Oregon’s Casablanca Gala, held May 31 in Bend. Proceeds help ensure children in foster care have a dedicated Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) — a trained volunteer who advocates for their safety, well-being and path to a permanent home.

OnPoint has provided CASA of Central Oregon with over $24,000 in support since 2010 for events like the Casablanca Gala (which the credit union sponsors annually), as well as funding for the nonprofit’s A Casa for Every Child programming.

Bethlehem Inn’s Spotlight on Homelessness

OnPoint also contributed $2,500 to Bethlehem Inn’s Spotlight on Homelessness event held May 12 in Bend. Funds from the event support individuals experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon by providing a safe place to sleep, nutritious meals, hygiene resources and case management services that help create pathways toward stability and independence.

OnPoint has provided support for Bethlehem Inn since 2019, recently through a $15,000 grant in 2025 supporting families as they transition from crisis to stability, and the sponsorship of KTVZ’s 21 Cares for Kids campaign.

Through these contributions, OnPoint continues to invest in education, housing stability and community connection — helping create meaningful, lasting impact across Bend.
