Central Oregon Community College (COCC) will celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new Madras campus building. The new facility expands access to higher education, workforce training, and student resources for Jefferson County and Central Oregon. The project reflects a strong partnership between COCC, local leaders, donors, and the community to support student success and regional economic vitality.

COCC Madras Campus Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

Date: Thursday, April 30, 2026

Time: 4 to 6 p.m.

Where: COCC Madras Campus, 1170 E Ashwood Road, Madras, OR

COCC students, faculty, and community members are invited to attend the ceremony, hear brief remarks from college and community leaders, tour the new building, and speak with students and college representatives about the impact of the expanded campus on educational opportunity and workforce development in the region.
