Bend 101 is all about learning and connection for new residents and those who’ve been here a while and want to become more involved. Spend the evening getting to know the history of Bend, how it developed into what we experience today, and how we can all contribute to a thriving community as we grow into the future.
Join us for an engaging Bend 101 focused on tourism and how we measure the impact of visitors on our community. This session will include an overview of the transient room tax (TRT) and how tourism dollars support key initiatives in Bend and Central Oregon. We’ll also hear from a panel of local experts who will share insights on the benefits and challenges of tourism and how data helps inform decisions about our region’s future. Whether you’re new to Bend or a long-time resident, this is your chance to better understand how tourism shapes our community and economy.
There will be time to socialize, indulge in bites and beverages, and enjoy the program at United Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon.
