Attracting and Retaining Great Employees

In the current economic climate, nonprofit leaders may find themselves rushed to make hard and fast employment decisions in order to balance budget deficiencies. Hasty decisions not only increase your organization’s risk for employment actions, but also limit your nonprofit’s ability to retain the great employees who help your organization grow and advance its mission.
Taking the time to plan and implement employment strategies will ultimately increase the effectiveness of your organization’s daily operations and strengthen your capacity to deliver services. Join HR consultant Melissa Humes to learn how you can help your organization develop new strategies that best respond to a changing work environment, reflect your nonprofit’s culture, and attract and retain great employees.
This event will take place on March 18 at St. Charles Medical Center from 8 to 10 a.m. The price is $22.50 for NAO nonprofit members and $25 for others. To register go to www.tacs.org/training/networks/nnco/attracting_and_retaining_great_employees.
